day before disembarkation

  • check your assigned disembark time - if needed visit guest services as early as possible for a change

  • settle on-board account

  • purchase photos

  • give crew members additional gratuities (not required, only if you wish to)

  • lay out disembarkation clothes - DON’T PACK EVERYTHING

  • pack - if using cruise line assisted disembarkation, luggage will need to be left outside your stateroom the night before disembarkation

  • set an alarm - most cruise lines require you to be out of your stateroom by 8 a.m.

disembarkation day

  • final cabin sweep - don't leave anything behind

  • have passports & cruise card easily accessible

  • eat breakfast

  • book ground transportation

  • elevators are usually very busy, if you're having difficulty, try going up and riding back down again

Avoid self disembarkation unless your sure you can carry all of your luggage off the ship without any help
